What time is check-in? Can I request an early check-in? What is the charge ? 

Check-in is from 3pm. It is possible to request an early check-in, but this will be subject to availability at the hotel.

What time is check-out? Can I request a late check-out? What is the charge?

From Monday to Saturday, check-out is before 12pm. It is possible to request a late check-out, subject to hotel availability, at an additional cost.

What payment methods are accepted?

The accepted payment methods are Visa, Amex, Mastercard and cash.

Do I need to pay a deposit to make a reservation?

For a flexible reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total booking will be charged.  In the case of a reservation at the non-refundable rate, 100% of the total booking will be charged.

What is the cancellation policy?

In the case of a reservation at a flexible rate, you can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before the arrival date.

Can I stay at the Abbaye for just one night on Friday or Saturday?

To take full advantage of the estate experience, a minimum of 2 nights is required for all weekend stays.

Is there a private car park on the site? What are the parking charges ? 

Yes, secure private parking is available on site, and is included in your reservation. Ten electric terminals are also available.

Is there 24-hour security and security cameras on the site?

Yes, there is a 24-hour security service and security cameras on the estate of l'Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay.

Is there a safe in the room?

Yes, a safe is provided in each of the rooms on the estate.

Are pets allowed in the hotel? Is there a charge for this? Are there any restrictions?

Only dogs under 8kg belonging to hotel guests are admitted to the Abbaye. The cost of the stay is €50 per day, including a specialized and personalized welcome for your little companion. Dogs are not allowed in the Pavillons des Lumières, Les Chasses restaurant, L'Auberge restaurant or our spa.

Does the hotel offer room service? Is there a turn-down service? 

Yes, room service is available in the hotel 7 days a week from 9am until 8pm, and there is also a turn-down service.

Does the hotel have a concierge service?

A Guest Relations service is available to hotel guests during their stay and offers concierge-type services, including : support, organisation and personalisation of your stay, making reservations...

Is wifi available in the bedrooms and on the estate?  

Access to the Wi-Fi network is available on the estate in and around the main areas and activity zones and is free of charge throughout the entire stay.

What facilities are included in my room?

The facilities provided in the room are: coffee machine, safe, hairdryer, kettle, minibar, television, telephone, welcome products.

Does the hotel have a swimming pool? Is the swimming pool heated? Is the hotel swimming pool open to visitors from outside the hotel?

Yes, the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool that is heated all year round. The pool is reserved exclusively for the use hotel guests.

Is the hotel accessible for people with disabilities? Do you have specially adapted rooms ? Do you have a lift ? 

Yes, the hotel is accessible to people with reduced mobility and has an elevator. The hotel's "Particulières" are also suitable for disabled guests. Please note, however, that access to the Les Haras rooms is by staircase only.

How far is the hotel from the airport?

L'Abbaye is 76km from Paris Charles de Gaulle international airport, a 90-minute drive, and 41km from Paris Orly airport, a 50-minute drive. Please contact our team to book your transfer.

Do you offer a shuttle service to the airport or train station?

Yes, the hotel offers a private transfer from the airport or arrival station.

Is the estate accessible to non-hotel guests?

Abbaye des vaux-de-Cernay is a private estate. Certain areas of the estate are accessible to external customers by reservation, namely the Spa and the restaurants (at certain times).

All reservations for the Brunch must be accompanied by payment of an admission fee for the Domaine de l'Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay: €30 per adult and €15 per child.

The package includes access to the estate and the opportunity to enjoy its activities.

Does the hotel have a fitness room? What are the opening hours? What equipment is available? Is its use included?

Yes, there is a gym in the hotel and it is open 24/7. Use of the gym is included in the room price.

Is the spa open to visitors from outside the hotel?

The Spa is open to visitors outside the hotel during certain periods and certain dates, with a limited number of places and subject to reservation.

What restaurants are on the estate? Is there a dress code?

The hotel has 3 restaurants and a bar, guests are requested to dress smartly and appropriately.

What type of breakfast is available? What time is it served? Can I have breakfast in my room?

A continental and American breakfast buffet is served daily in the Salle des Moines from 7:30am to 10:30am, featuring local and seasonal produce. Breakfast can be taken in your room in the Abbaye for an additional service charge.

Can I make a reservation at one of the restaurants on the estate if I'm not staying at the hotel?

Yes, some restaurants are open to outside visitors during certain periods.

Do you have space to organize events, seminars or conferences?

L'Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay has 8 meeting rooms that are suitable for holding events, seminars, study days and conferences.

Does the hotel serve brunch?

The hotel offers brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 to 3:30 pm in the legendary Salle des Moines. Brunch is also available to outside guests by reservation only.

Does the hotel serve a Tea-Time?

The hotel will soon be offering Tea-time every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm in the James Bar lounges.

What restrictions apply and what is your policy for stays with children ?

Children are welcome on the estate of l'Abbaye and are classed as "children" up to 8 years of age. Access to the Tartine et Chocolat Kids' Club is reserved for children from 3 to 8 years of age.

What room categories are suitable for families with children?

The Family rooms are ideal for a couple and one child. These consist of two separate areas with a double bed and a single bed.

Do any restrictions apply for children in the restaurants of l'Abbaye? 

All of the restaurants at l'Abbaye accept children with the exception of les Chasses which is not recommended for dinner with children.

Is access to the Kids Club included?

Access to the Kids Club Tartine et Chocolat is included in the stay for children aged 3 to 8 under adult supervision. Supervised childcare is offered by the hotel at an additional cost.

Does the hotel have an outdoor play area for children?

Yes, the hotel has a play area that can be used by children accompanied by an adult. This facility is exposed to weather conditions.

What special activities are available for children during their stay?

The Kids Friendly activities at l'Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay are : the Kids Club, outdoor play area, gaming room, cinema, remote-controlled boats, rowing boats, bikes and pedalos. For all activities, children must be accompanied by an adult.
